From our fantastic, renovated studio complex in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, we offer professional music tuitions in Guitar, Drum kit, Bass, Piano/Keyboard, Recording Studio techniques and Vocals... along with Workshops, Events, Seminars and Clinics by some of today's top performers and industry professionals.
Our centrally located music studio complex hosts a full band/Seminar/Lecture studio, a full production recording studio and nine fully equipped teaching studios. So come along and relax in our lounge area with refreshments and free Wi-FI and prepare for your next step to stardom!
Our Story
The brain child of Music Industry experts Gary Walmsley and Steve Smith, Progress Music Academy have been delivering music lessons to thousands of students around the world since 2009!
After renovating a 2,000 square foot studio in the heart of Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter, Progress opened it's doors with a plan to deliver professional, fun, inspiring and completely tailored musical instrument lessons to both beginners and advanced musicians, either online or in person from our studios.
With support from Industry giants Marshall Amplification, Natal Drums and Trinity College London, Progress Music Academy have gone from strenth to strength and operate with a team of hand picked tutors who deliver sessions on Guitar, Bass, Drums, Piano & Keyboard, Vocals and Recording Studio.

Our Tutors
With some of the country's best musicians teaching for us, we guarantee you'll be playing along with your favourite songs, forming your own bands or passing your grades in no time. You can choose to study towards exam grades (We are Birmingham's Trinity Rock & Pop Exam Centre) or just improve on certain aspects.
