I've tried a few tutors in my home town Newark but come all that way for lessons with Kom because her advice is clear to understand, she avoids long winded analogies and I actually enjoy the lessons whilst I feel I am also improving.read more

This is a great place to start singing lessons I absolutely love it here, I like the way the lessons are structured and my teacher is very professional and encouraging my confidence is much better since being here.The staff are also very friendly.read more

This is an amazing place, I love it a lot. It can help you progress in your musical skills extremely quickly. I am 13 and I have been playing the guitar for about 3 and a half months and I am already playing some pretty hard stuff. They also listen to what you want to do not just exams, you can pretty much choose what ever you want to do(apart from things to help you, but its still fun!) Awesome PS Dave is a Godread more

Been coming for drum lessons for around 6 months now. Making great Progress and just started Trinity Grade 1, hoping to take the exam at Progress later this year! Also looking for my Grandson to do this years Summer School. Really friendly staff and great facilities. Would recommend to everyone!read more

I Really enjoy going to Progress each week and learning to drum. All feedback given is very useful and constructive and the teachers know how to adjust to the style of learning that you prefer. They are all very laid back and easy to get along with. read more

In my opinion, progress music academy is a great place to learn. It has a very friendly feel as soon as you walk through the door. Steve Smith (guitar tutor) not only has an unfathomable amount of talent as a guitarist, but he is also one of the most humble people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. His teaching style is amazing and a great deal of benefit to beginners right up to advanced players! You will not be let down by anyone in progress music academy as all of the tutors are indeed masters of their instruments and very approachable people. I have seen a vast improvement in my playing in the short time I have spent under Steve's instruction and owe him a great deal of thanks for it!read more
