Alexandra – Vocal & Piano Tutor
Alexandra Kapitonova was born in Dresden, Germany and moved to Ukraine from the age of two.
In 2006 she entered the State Pedagogical University, Bohdan Khmelnitsky, and graduated from a higher education institution in 2011 with honors and received earned a Master of Pedagogical Education qualification in Ukraine. During her studies, Alexandra was a soloist with the Tauride Pectoral orchestra, which performed across Europe and she repeatedly became the winner of Ukrainian and International vocal competitions and olympiads (Poland, Lithuania). After graduating from University, she held the position of Artistic Director at the Cultural Center in the city of Melitopol from 2011 to 2018. During this time, she was also a part-time teacher of psychology until in 2019, she became Artistic Director and Vocal Coach at the Harmony Variety Art School in Kyiv, Ukraine.
Alexandra's students have become multiple winners of all-Ukrainian and International singing and performance competitions, reviews & festivals and Alexandra has achieved multiple awards, diplomas and accolades for the period of pedagogical activity.
Alexandra works with both children and adults and she provides completely personal, fun and informal lessons which are technically challenging and achieve quick results. She is extremely passionate about working with students to achieve their musical goals and stylistically, she covers a wide range of genres, from Traditional & Classical, through to Rock and Pop
