Stephen Deehan – Producer
Stephen is a music producer and audio engineer who knows his way around both commercial studios and the classroom. A Logic Pro X specialist, he’s worked across a huge range of genres, always delivering top-tier results.
His journey into the studio world kicked off in 2014 at Access Creative College. From there, he took things up a notch at De Montfort University, graduating with a First Class degree in Music Technology. He didn’t stop there — during his postgraduate studies in Music, Technology, and Innovation, he scored a Distinction and was named “Best Postgraduate Student” in his year.
Stephen’s got vast experience teaching music tech and digital media skills in all kinds of settings — from mainstream schools to SEN schools and alternative education. On top of his audio production skills, he’s also a talented graphic designer, video editor, and bass guitarist, often blending these creative skills into his projects.
In the studio, Stephen runs the whole show — taking projects from the first idea to the final master. Whether it’s music, theatre, film, radio, or podcasts, he’s got recording, mixing, and mastering locked down. As an educator, he’s passionate about making sure students feel confident using Digital Audio Workstations, guiding them from their first click to producing their own tracks.
Stephen’s approach is all about keeping it real: tailoring every session to each student’s style, goals, and passions. He believes learning should be exciting, hands-on, and 100% connected to what inspires you.
