Russell Baugh, GUITAR TUTOR

Russell has been playing guitar for nearly a decade. During this time he has been heavily influenced by the likes of Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath), Randy Rhoads (Ozzy Osbourne & Quiet Riot) and many more and keeping his focus on a vast array of techniques and playing styles used in modern music.

Alongside this he has extended his knowledge in music theory and technique by studying with the Registry of guitar tutors (RGT) & the London college of music (LCM). At this time Russell holds Grade 7 in electric guitar and is currently preparing for his Grade 8 with aspirations for further studies.

Russell is also part of a newly formed band called Slim&Blade and with the release of there first song "Everybody stop", has gained early interest on the music scene.

One of the newest members of our teaching team, Russell's teaching style and technique fits in extremely well with the Progress Music Academy ethos and direction. Guitar lessons with Russell are highly recommended and utilising a great balance of theory and practical, he can get you started or take your playing to the next level very quickly.

Guitar Lessons with Russell are a blast, so why not try him out!?
