Harrison Forster- Drum Tutor

A self-taught drummer for over ten years, Harrison became a student at Progress to pursue his Grade 8 Performance Certificate. Quickly moving through the ranks, he started a teaching programme with Progress, eventually moving into the teacher’s stool.

Over the past few years, Harrison gained vast amounts of experience as a tutor, mentor and coach. These roles have taught him how to be an effective tutor through encompassing the whole person within his tailored and fully personalised lessons.

With a degree and further studies in psychoanalysis, Harrison’s clinical training with children and young people allows him to mix these two passions by focusing on the individual’s he teaches, leading them to a place of self-development, by supporting them with the challenges of learning an instrument along with experiencing the wider benefits of music. Harrisons drum lessons are fun and relaxed but at the same time include a very thorough and structured approach which will quickly produce results.
