Dominika is a professional pianist based in Birmingham after graduating from Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She had the opportunity to study at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire with the Weingarten Scholarship (teachers: Daniel Browell, Margaret Fingerhut) and more recently she is continuing to develop her skills on the Postgraduate Certificate course.

Dominika achieved a Masters in Piano Performance with highest honours at Liszt Academy of Music – Budapest and in 2016 she received her Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance and she has recently spent time playing and studying in Germany under the guidance of prof. Thomas Steinhöfel at Hochschule für Musik Franz Liszt – Weimar

Dominika enjoys collaborating with other musicians, preparing various repertoire for chamber music recitals, writing and playing with one of her piano trios (who we were finalists of the Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Competition (2019) and she enjoys all music styles from Classical through to Pop and Rock.

She is very experienced in teaching piano and music theory both privately and in music schools and is comfortable teaching complete beginners up to advanced players who want to improve. She is a patient, friendly, highly qualified musician who is happy to share her knowledge and the joy of music with all students. Dominika will tailor the lessons so they are 100% personalised to you and she will take you through any exam syllabus (if you wish to study for exams).
